Aftercare for Amtico

By On December 14, 2017 Under Amtico Flooring

We deep clean and restore Amtico flooring. Why might Amtico need our attention? Although it is a durable and hard-wearing flooring alternative it is susceptible over time to yellowing. It will also experience day-to-day usage so will inevitably suffer from wear.

This is where our specialist Amtico cleaning techniques offer great reward. Once your floors are fully restored they will be left looking great and fully protected.

This offers you peace of mind and allows you to enjoy your beautiful and luxurious flooring. The following information has been put together to inform our clients of how best to care for their floors after our cleaning.

Once your Amtico floors have been cleaned and sealed they will require routine cleaning. This cleaning becomes much easier once they have been appropriately sealed.

What is required?

  • Make sure to regularly hover dust and particles away from your floor. If this can be done daily it will mean that particles are not left to deteriorate the surface once again. As you can imagine even the smallest particles can act like sandpaper on your newly applied surface coating.
  • Getting into good habits with cleaning floors is always beneficial. Get your family helping! Delegate the task or build up a shared routine.
  • Use only the products that we suggest as these will be sensitive enough not to damage the floor sealer but will keep it looking great. Harsh chemicals can dull the surface of the floor and leave it looking unsightly.
  • Do not use scrubbing brushes to clean up stains or spillages. These will only scratch away at the grain pattern of your floor.
