Stone Restoration County Durham

By On November 26, 2013 No Comments

One of the most exciting elements of our work is the variation of stone restoration work that we get throughout County Durham. Stone flooring is so multi-faceted and having the time-served knowledge to approach each job in a tailored way allows us the opportunity of achieving the best possible stone cleaning results.

The below video shows a stone restoration job that we completed in County Durham. These Victorian-Edwardian mosaic floor tiles were laid in the entrance way of this home and had therefore experienced high levels of foot traffic. This had resulted in dull and tired-looking floor tiles that the owner felt gave an uninviting impression to her home.

We were invited to restore these treasured tiles; a pre-mixed cleaning solution was applied which was then agitated with our rotary machinery. After this process was completed the floor was then rinsed thoroughly and dried with our high-powered drying machine.

The industrial machinery that we use vastly improves the speed to which we are able to restore stone floors; it also provides a superior finish. The tiles were then sealed to improve the longevity of the stone cleaning process and to offer a natural resistance against liquid and mildew.

The end of the video shows how the mosaic floor was restored and the results we were able to achieve. The homeowner was so pleased to have her beautiful mosaics back to their former glory as they provided a brilliant statement on entering the home and were a real feature of this classic property.

We go the extra mile to make sure that each and every customer that deals with our Company has the best customer experience possible with superior cleaning results. Customer recommendations have helped drive our business forward in the County Durham area and has formed part of our business ethos.
